"Swarthmoor Reserves and Kirkby Lonsdale Reserves were involved in a relegation battle with Kirkby's position more dire. It was a good battle with both sides striving to out do the other. Kirkby Lonsdale Reserves opened up a 2-0 lead with goals by player/manager Scott Kirk and David Banks the other. Swarthmoor Reserves would not be denied and roared back to force an equalizer with Barry Midgely and then Stuart Armistead with the second. This point leaves Swarthmoor Reserves in a good position to avoid relegation. The one point gained by Kirkby Lonsdale Reserves moves them out of a relegation place and puts Burton Thistle in its place. The other contender for relegation now is Torrisholme Reserves who still have Kirkby Lonsdale Reserves to play in what has become a crunch match."

Best ball boy I've ever seen Smithy. Truly outstanding.
I on the other hand was truly appalling.

Why were you appalling Stretchy?
To be honest I didn’t think it was a game of chances and neither keeper got tested too much. Their keeper made a good save from Baz in the second half from the left, before he then scored from a similar position a little later.
Will get the vids on the site sometime, though at the moment I’m on with other things for the site tonight.

Misjudged a couple of crosses, kicking wasn't great again, fluffed coming for a through ball... generally just not a good display. Better than that and I know it.
MoTM - Ben Donnan who was excellent, ahead of Ben Dryden and Stu Armistead. -

Goalies are always harsh judges of their own performances. In a game where there wasn’t many saves to make it easy to just think of the niggles. I though considering the wind kicks were good more often than not and I didn’t feel there was anything major elsewhere. Every player makes mistakes; I could count them on my hands for each individual outfield player. Keepers will misjudge things too, only we not let off so easily for it!
Agree Donny was good. Ben Dryden had one of the strongest games I've seen with a bit of extra bravery and getting stuck in. Vinnie had a good first half, and Baz had his moments.
Someone should write a match report, but it wont be me
