"Kirkby Lonsdale Reserves in desperate need for points had to settle for just one when for the second week running they drew with Swarthmoor Reserves. This time neither side could find the net. Shots at goals were few and far between as the game was spoilt by a strong wind. The one point gained moves Kirkby Lonsdale Reserves one point further away from next to bottom Burton Thistle and more importantly for them another point away from bottom club Torrisholme Reserves who they have still to play in what could be a vital game for both teams."
