"Morecambe Cricket Club faced a tricky trip to Swarthmoor Reserves after losing form of recent weeks. They had to battle hard before breaking down a hard working Swarthmoor Reserves side that is just about safe from the possibility of relegation. Morecambe Cricket Club had to thank Graeme Cassidy for his two hard worked goals, Anthony Turner finally made the game safe for the Cricket Club. Swarthmoor Reserves deservedly got on the score sheet when Vinny Marr scored his first goal of the season."
